Dr Ashraf Ali (Project Leader)

Ashraf Ali is assistant professor and head of the electrical engineering department in the Hashemite University in Jordan. His research interest is mainly focused on mission critical communication systems, sensory data processing and design and fabrication of sensory nodes, core communication network’s structure and protocols, IoT and data science for health monitoring and digital agriculture applications. He is the manager of the IoT, cloud computing and AI applications research lab. He is currently involved in many internationally and locally funded projects as a lead applicant with several local and international academic, industry partners, and stakeholders. Dr Ashraf is a lecturer of various courses such as Internet of things, Communication Electronics, Satellite Communications (remote Sensing), Signals and Systems, and Digital communication Networks, research Methodes (MSc). With solid ties with the industry as part of his involvement, as a principal investigator, for many locally and internationally funded projects, Dr Ashraf has done consultancy and advisory services for academic and industrial partners.

Eng Sufian Al-Ahmad

Sufian is an entrepreneur with fifteen years of professional experience in software development. He specializes in data science, user experience, and data visualization. Combining his technical expertise in web development with a passion for design and the visual aspects of data; He has founded TechCare, utilizing big data technology to create compelling and insightful medical platforms and AI tailored to the healthcare industry. 

Prof. Andrew Ware

Andrew is a Professor of Computing at the University of South Wales. His research interest centres on deploying intelligent computer systems (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science oriented solutions) to help solve real-world problems. Andrew works on AI-related projects with several industrial and commercial partners, including Tata Steel and Digital Health and Care Wales. Andrew enjoys immensely travelling the world as an invited speaker at international conferences and overseas institutions. Andrew is Director of Research for the Wales Institute of Digital information. Professor Ware teaches various computer-related courses, including artificial intelligence, data mining and computer programming.

Eng Sinan Hiasat

Mechatronics Engineer graduated from the university of Jordan and the cofounder of Volt Automation was founded in 2016 by a team of widely experienced engineers driven by a shared passion for automation. Volt Automation looks across every part of your application to deploy the right combination of hardware and software platforms to build a solid base for your industrial application. We work with our clients to understand their needs, and develop with them their requirements to reach a result much better suited for their needs than they initially perceived.

Prof Omar Sarereh

received the B.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Mutah University, Jordan, in 1999, the M.Sc. degree in Digital Communication Systems in U.K., and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University, U.K., in 2005. From 2001 to 2005, he was a member of staff with the Centre for Mobile Communication Research, Loughborough University. He has more than 19 years of academic and practical experience in electrical engineering, mobile communications, various antennas design, fabrication and measurements, radiation hazards and health effects, and wireless communications. He was a high-level consultant and a turnkey solution originator in countless business and charitable sectors, and an international public speaker and a trainer on a variety of business and people management topics. He is currently a full professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hashemite University, Jordan.

Mr John Bostock

John is the Director of companies, principally Elysium Projects Ltd and Aguacure Ltd and Elentec Ltd developing and co-inventing electrochemical water treatment systems. Patents applied for processes in contaminant removal and antimicrobial fluids, techniques now been taken up by industry following significant testing programs. Also participated in: Three Smart awards in the UK and: European projects, Worked with US Department of Defense on opportunities for environmental
technologies in Europe. Craft project – Calixsen – sensors for metal detection in water. EcoInnovation: Ecometre – removal and recovery of nickel from waste streams. Rephater – removal and recovery of phosphate from dairy waste. FP7: Pilgrim – combating MRSA in pigs Radar – developing sensors for endocrine disruptors Life Demine – cleaning mine waste run off

Dr Fatima Bani-Khaled

Dr. Fatima A. Bani khaled is a researcher in National agricultural Research Center (NARC) , AL-khalidyah Agriculture Biosalinity Research Station , AL-Mafraq/ Jordan. Ph.D IN Land, Water and Environment from University of Jordan ,Master in Integrated Management of natural resource ,bachlores in chemical engineering from Jordan university of science and technology and she is involved in different research in irrigation water management, Water Demand Management,reused of treated wastewater for agriculture, climate change, crop Modeling, Soil Salinity and Plant Water Relation.
